If your child or teenager is having challenges in the home, school, or community, I can help.
I understand the stress this can cause the entire family and how hard it is to see your child struggle. I want you to know that by working together, things can get better.
For over 20 years I have helped children and their families understand their current difficulties and build the skills they need to have positive relationships and reach their full potential.

As Dr. Ross Greene explains, "Kids do well if they can." I am a believer that all children desire positive relationships and want to be successful in their home, school, and community. I believe that difficulty in any of these areas is a by-product of lagging skills . The skills required for flexibility/adaptability, frustration tolerance, and problem solving often require extra support in order to develop. I have witnessed exceptional growth in children when we approach social, emotional, and behavioral challenges as skill deficits.
Consider these familiar approaches in families and schools
- When a child is having difficulty reading, we teach
- When a child is having trouble hitting a baseball, we coach

My approach is personal, compassionate, and collaborative. We will work together to understand your child's specific challenges and how they are impacting your family. Together we will come to understand which lagging skills are contributing to the struggles. Then we will work together to create specific plans that strengthen the skills needed to experience success for the child and family.
I highly suggest the book Raising Human Beings by Ross Greene, PhD. and his website LivesInTheBalance.org to support our work together.
